Vehicles and Parking

There is plenty of free parking available near The Skylands Music & Arts Festival entrance. Parking is on a first-come first-serve basis so come early for the nearest spaces. Overflow parking is at the North Warren Regional High School, a brisk walk from the festival grounds. Handicap parking is available only to those with valid, state-issued permits. Please obey the directions of our parking crews to conserve spaces and minimize risk of damage to the lawns at Sycamore Park.

The Weather

This is a “rain or shine event,” so bring your rain gear just in case - better safe than sorry! And don’t forget your sunscreen. It can get pretty chilly in the evenings. This time of year it’s best to bring layers. It may be hot & humid during the day and breezy & cool at night. All performances take place under tents so dry, covered seating will allow you to enjoy the show even in a downpour.

Festival Seating

There are plenty of seating options at the Skylands Music & Arts Festival. The carefully maintained athletic fields of Sycamore Park offer plenty of space to spread a tarp or blanket or place a low-profile lawn chair. All seats under the Main Tent and Cafe Tent are general admission (first-come, first-served) seating. There is a large wide area in front of the Main Stage where you may use the provided folding chairs, or set up your own lawn chair. Shade tarps or canopies may only be set up along the outer perimeters of the lawn seating areas. Please be considerate by not blocking others’ views of the stage. The performers deserve to have a full audience in front of the stage. If you leave your seats unattended, they are available for others to sit in until you return. Again, please do not obstruct the view of those behind you.

We do not allow picnic baskets, coolers or glass containers of any kind into the festival. Broken glass, barefoot children and soccer fields just don't mix.
